568-351 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-351 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 4.725 in (120.02 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.145 in (130.68 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80351. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.
