568-352 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80352 is an AS568-352 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.85 in (123.19 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.27 in (133.86 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and food and beverage.
