568-353 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80353 is an AS568-353 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.395 in (137.03 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include food and beverage, chemical processing, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
