568-357 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80357, this is an AS568-357 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.475 in (139.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.895 in (149.73 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, steam, and strong acids and solvents. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.

Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and food and beverage.
