568-361 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80361 is an AS568-361 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.975 in (151.77 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.395 in (162.43 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, food and beverage, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
