568-365 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80365 is an AS568-365 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.975 in (177.17 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.395 in (187.83 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

The material holds up against aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing call for a different compound.
