568-367 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80367, this is an AS568-367 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.475 in (189.87 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.895 in (200.53 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. Expect good resistance to steam, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage.
