AS568-371 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

TEV80371 is an AS568-371 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 8.475 in (215.27 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.895 in (225.93 mm). In service, this o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing call for a different compound.
