568-373 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80373 is an AS568-373 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 8.975 in (227.97 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.395 in (238.63 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

This material stands up to aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
