568-378 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80378, an AS568-378 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 10.475 in (266.07 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.895 in (276.73 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
