568-390 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-390 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A with an inside diameter of 20.953 in (532.21 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 21.373 in (542.87 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80390. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. Expect good resistance to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and aggressive oxidizers. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
