568-394 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80394 is an AS568-394 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 24.94 in (633.48 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 25.36 in (644.14 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in aggressive-media valves and pumps, chemical processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
