This o-ring is supplied in AS568-395 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 25.94 in (658.88 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 26.36 in (669.54 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80395. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.
