Ordered as TEV80419, this is an AS568-419 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 3.725 in (94.62 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.275 in (108.59 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.

Common environments for this compound include semiconductor equipment, food and beverage, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
