568-420 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80420, this is an AS568-420 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 3.85 in (97.79 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.4 in (111.76 mm). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material holds up against aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
