*568-423 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80423 is an AS568-423 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.775 in (121.29 mm). In service, this o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Typical settings include chemical processing, food and beverage, and semiconductor equipment.
