568-425 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80425, this is an AS568-425 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 4.475 in (113.67 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.025 in (127.64 mm). The o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. This material stands up to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
