568-426 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80426 is an AS568-426 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 4.6 in (116.84 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.15 in (130.81 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material holds up against strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
