AS568-430 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.65 in (143.51 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Part number TEV80430 is an AS568-430 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 5.1 in (129.54 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.65 in (143.51 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Common environments for this compound include food and beverage, chemical processing, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
