568-431 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80431, an AS568-431 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 5.225 in (132.72 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.775 in (146.69 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The compound resists steam, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Maintenance and OEM teams specify it across pharmaceutical manufacturing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and food and beverage.
