*568-434 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80434 is an AS568-434 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.6 in (142.24 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.15 in (156.21 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, and aggressive-media valves and pumps.
