*568-436 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Ordered as TEV80436, this is an AS568-436 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 5.85 in (148.59 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.4 in (162.56 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against steam, nearly all process chemicals, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
