568-438 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80438 is an AS568-438 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.225 in (158.12 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.775 in (172.09 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to steam, aggressive oxidizers, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
