568-439 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80439 is an AS568-439 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 6.475 in (164.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.025 in (178.44 mm). An o-ring delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The material holds up against steam, aggressive oxidizers, and nearly all process chemicals. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care will shorten service life.
