568-442 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

Part number TEV80442 is an AS568-442 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 7.225 in (183.52 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.775 in (197.49 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to steam, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care call for a different compound.
