Ordered as TEV80449, this is an AS568-449 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.975 in (253.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 10.525 in (267.34 mm). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified for excellent resistance to permeation and contamination, long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor equipment, and food and beverage.
