568-451 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80451 is an AS568-451 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 10.975 in (278.77 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.525 in (292.74 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists steam, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chemical processing.
