568-455 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80455 is an AS568-455 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 12.975 in (329.57 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 13.525 in (343.54 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. This material stands up to strong acids and solvents, nearly all process chemicals, and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

It sees regular use in food and beverage, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and semiconductor equipment.
