568-466 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80466, an AS568-466 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 18.455 in (468.76 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 19.005 in (482.73 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to steam, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is known for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

It sees regular use in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and food and beverage.
