*568-471 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-471 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 21.955 in (557.66 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 22.505 in (571.63 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80471. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
