568-475 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-475 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 25.94 in (658.88 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 26.49 in (672.85 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80475. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. It resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and chemical processing.
