APG stocks the 3E60ASWALP, a Tough-Tite Aluminum Pipe Socket Weld End Socket Weld Fitting supplied with a 6 inch nominal size. A socket weld fitting welds into a pipe run to create a fixed connection point.

Expect good resistance to general atmospheric corrosion, weathering, and many petroleum products. Aluminum offers reduced operator fatigue on frequent connection cycles and good corrosion resistance in general industrial service. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or prolonged salt water immersion are present.
