The TSP460 is an AS568-460 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 15.475 in (393.07 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 16.025 in (407.04 mm). This back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

The material holds up against solvents, oxidizing media, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE (Teflon) delivers near-universal chemical inertness and excellent dielectric properties. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in semiconductor fabrication, chemical processing, and laboratory equipment.
