Ordered as TST014, this is an AS568-014 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.489 in (12.42 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.629 in (15.98 mm). The back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

The compound resists oxidizing media, strong acids and bases, and steam. PTFE (Teflon) is widely chosen for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and a very wide continuous service temperature range. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.
