3U60CSS is an U-Tite Stainless Steel Part C Female Coupler x Hose Shank Cam and Groove Coupling supplied with a 6 inch nominal size. In service, this cam and groove coupling terminates a hose with a female coupler end. This item is further identified as Female Coupler X Hose Shank.

This material stands up to elevated temperature, salt water and washdown, and corrosion and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel offers a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. Exposure to chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals will shorten service life.
