U70028 is an AS568-028 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.364 in (34.65 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.504 in (38.2 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

It resists extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and impact and shock loading. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
