Ordered as U70122, this is an AS568-122 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.112 in (28.24 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.318 in (33.48 mm). The o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. The compound resists petroleum oils, extrusion under high pressure, and abrasion and wear. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or hot water and steam.
