568-227 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70227 is an AS568-227 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.109 in (53.57 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.387 in (60.63 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for exceptional abrasion resistance and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, extrusion under high pressure, and ozone. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or ketones are present.
