*568-229 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

Part number U90229 is an AS568-229 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.359 in (59.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.637 in (66.98 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers very high tensile strength and load capacity, toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. The material holds up against extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and impact and shock loading. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases.
