Ordered as U90242, this is an AS568-242 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.984 in (101.19 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.262 in (108.25 mm). The o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) offers toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds, very high tensile strength and load capacity. It resists petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature are present.

It sees regular use in mining and heavy equipment, press and forming equipment, and construction machinery.
