568-008 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70008 is an AS568-008 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.316 in (8.03 mm). In service, this o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for exceptional abrasion resistance and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Expect good resistance to impact and shock loading, petroleum oils, and abrasion and wear. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones call for a different compound.
