This o-ring is supplied in AS568-020 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.864 in (21.95 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.004 in (25.5 mm), catalogued under part number U70020. It compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

It resists abrasion and wear, ozone, and extrusion under high pressure. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and exceptional abrasion resistance. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to ketones or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature will shorten service life.
