568-109 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70109, an AS568-109 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure, very high tensile strength and load capacity. This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, petroleum oils, and impact and shock loading. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to acids and bases or hot water and steam will shorten service life.

Typical settings include press and forming equipment, hydraulic cylinders, and construction machinery.
