568-164 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70164, an AS568-164 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 6.237 in (158.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.443 in (163.65 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is known for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure, very high tensile strength and load capacity. It resists impact and shock loading, petroleum oils, and extrusion under high pressure. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving acids and bases or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature call for a different compound.
