This o-ring is supplied in AS568-211 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 0.796 in (20.22 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.074 in (27.28 mm), catalogued under part number U70211. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

The compound resists petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and ozone. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for exceptional abrasion resistance and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving acids and bases or ketones call for a different compound.

Typical settings include hydraulic cylinders, mining and heavy equipment, and construction machinery.
