Part number U70229 is an AS568-229 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 2.359 in (59.92 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.637 in (66.98 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) delivers long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. This material stands up to ozone, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to acids and bases or ketones will shorten service life.
