568-256 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

The U70256 is an AS568-256 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 5.734 in (145.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 6.012 in (152.7 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

The compound resists abrasion and wear, impact and shock loading, and petroleum oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for very high tensile strength and load capacity, outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). It should not be specified for service in hot water and steam or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature.

It sees regular use in press and forming equipment, mining and heavy equipment, and off-highway equipment.
