568-330 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the U70330, an AS568-330 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.1 in (53.34 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.52 in (64.01 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for exceptional abrasion resistance and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. The material holds up against ozone, abrasion and wear, and extrusion under high pressure. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving acids and bases or hot water and steam call for a different compound.

Typical settings include mining and heavy equipment, construction machinery, and hydraulic cylinders.
