An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. The compound resists extrusion under high pressure, abrasion and wear, and petroleum oils. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service.

It sees regular use in off-highway equipment, mining and heavy equipment, and press and forming equipment.
