568-201 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

The U90201 is an AS568-201 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.171 in (4.34 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.449 in (11.4 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to abrasion and wear, extrusion under high pressure, and petroleum oils. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified for very high tensile strength and load capacity, exceptional abrasion resistance. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or acids and bases call for a different compound.
